We're all about having fun, but we try not to let stupidity get in the way. After all, we hope to be paddling, hiking, climbing and enjoying the outdoors for many years to come. We can't stress safety enough, especially on the water and rock. This year we'll offer a "Safety, Comfort and Organization" DVD and safety checklist (on waterproof paper) to customers buying a new boat.
The DVD was produced by Northwater, a company that "develops practical solutions for aquatic endeavors". It highlights sea kayaking, white water kayaking and canoeing, and provides useful information for paddlers of all skill levels.
