Good Harbor Bay Paddle
   (Kayaks 16' and longer)

Located within the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Good Harbor Bay is a wonderful launch site. We'll paddle from the Bay out to Lake Michigan and continue toward the Pyramid Point bluffs which rise 400' high along the water. There is an old ship wreck we may find if the water is calm and clear. Approximately 7 miles round trip. You must have a parking permit for the National Lakeshore which can be purchased on site.

Old Mission Paddling

Old Mission Harbor
(Kayaks 16' and longer)

Located near the tip of Old Mission Peninsula, this shallow harbor has a nice County Park to launch from. We'll head out-of the harbor north to the Old Mission Lighthouse. The shallow water, rock outcrops and incredible sunsets make this a picturesque trip. The waves can make for a wild ride, but we're close to shore the entire time. If the water is calm, we'll explore a ship wreck just off the shoreline. Approximately 5 miles round trip.

Boardman River
   (Kayaks under 14')

Before the Boardman becomes an urban river in Traverse City, its cold waters flow through forests of pine and cedar. Join us about a half hour from town as we paddle through the calm turns of this great recreational river. This is easy moving water, but river obstacles can present some unique challenges. We'll help arrange moving your car for this one way adventure.
